need help to tour yellowstone from salt lake city

we are a family of 4,2 adults and 2 boys 16 and 14. we will be visiting US this summer and planning on doing yellowstone. we were looking for a tour company who would take us from salt lake city to yellowstone park on 1st july and get us back on 3rd july.basically we have 2 days at the park. we are looking for an alternative to bundubashers but they seem to be the only tour company doing this tour. is there any other alternative? since we would be first time visitors we were not too comfortable about driving around.please help since we really need to do our air bookings asap to get the best rates.

I don%26#39;t know if it will work for you but Tauck tours is highly regarded and well established. See:

need help to tour yellowstone from salt lake city

We are getting more and more requests for people who do not want to drive (senios, do not have an international license, travling alone, just don%26#39;t drive). Here are a couple of options:

1.You can take a shuttle from Salt Lake City to West Yellowstone. This is a shuttle that many people here use to get from the airport to West Yellowstone. It is not a tour bus, but smaller vans that commute back and forth each day. Their web site is www.SaltLakeExpress.com and they go back and forth from West Yellowstone to Salt Lake City each morning and evening. You can then make arrangements with tour companies from West Yellowstone to take you into different parts of Yellowstone and return you back here at night.

2. You can fly into West Yellowstone from mid-June to mid-September on SkyWest which an airline that works with Delta and United. The flight from Salt Lake City (2X per day) will bring you here. Most hotels will pick you up at the airport and then there are private tour companies to take you into Yellowstone each.

thanks for all help. we did try to contact a few tour companies whose address is given in the yellowstone chamber of commerce website but there has been no response. we still wait ...meanwhile am still googling away...

Aruna-

This is ';spring break week'; here in West Yellowstone. Some of the tour companies take off a week or two between the end of the winter and the beginning of the west entrance opening for wheeled vehicles on April 18th. Try again in a week and I am sure that they will be back!
