I have money down on a condo at the Aspens for 4 nights in June, but the more research I do and the lovely pictures I see of Teton NP and the lodging inside it, the more I%26#39;m second guessing my choice of the Aspens. We have several days in which to visit and enjoy the park, so I will be able to enjoy the scenery, but wondering what the actual scenery is like where the Aspens are. Can anyone help describe the area to me? Thanks so much!
Can you see the mountains at the Aspens?
It really depends on where at the Aspens your condo is. The Aspens are at the base of the Tetons, so views can be limiting. You may have a view across the valley at ';The Sleeping Indian'; if there is a dusting of snow left, the rocky cliffs look like feathers on a headress!! Also, a short stroll to Starbucks or Westside Market will give you great views. (all of Jackson Hole is full of scenery!)
The Aspens are on the Teton Village side of the valley (Jackson Hole), about 15-20 minutes from Jackson Town Square. Very near an entrance to GTNP via Moose Wilson Road and Teton Village.
Condos are always a good idea, to have space, place to do laundry, and have a kitchen!! Before we moved here we did condos! We%26#39;re a fam of 4, and having the extra space to ';spread out'; and not be on top of each other (think 4 walls, motel room) was a deciding factor.

A great screen name, lvinjxnhole!!!
Thanx! ';V';
:-)
Thanks, Jackson Hole. I%26#39;m staying where I%26#39;m at-- we got a very nice condo for a great price, far less than a rustic cabin in a million dollar setting. We will have ample time to hang out at Signal Mountain, Dornans, etc. to get the view, but still have a comfy modern place to come home to.
I am SO looking forward to seeing your backyard!! We just can%26#39;t wait! Thanks again.
