colter bay cabins or Flagg Ranch

We are on a 10 day trip - 3 days 4 nights Glacier NP, 3 days 4 nights Yellowstone (Mammoth Hot Springs Lodge) and 2 days 2 nights in Grand Tetons

We are a family 4 with teenage children - like outdoors, do not care for TV and such.

Trying to decide between Colter Bay cabins and Flagg Ranch. Opinions appreciated.

Any other recommendations for family?

Also, should we shorten stay in Tetons to 1 day?

Colter Bay Cabins would be a better location. Flagg Ranch is ideal for seeing both parks, but since you would already have stayed and visited Yellowstone, then Colter Bay would be a better Teton experience.

No, considering the rest of your itinerary I wouldn%26#39;t cut the Tetons back to one day. Lots to do there.

Thank you very much. We will stay at colter bay cabins. It seems to get fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. One of my colleagues who did not stay there but passed it on the way to another place thought it was too crowded because of RV park nearby. Did you stay there? Is it reasonably quiet and safe that you can walk to the lake and admire stars at night?

Yes, we will keep it for 2 days since float trip down snake river appears to very charming!
