Have you eaten at Dornan's?

Good morning. We had planned on having breakfast at Dornan%26#39;s on our last day in GTNP before heading south to Encampment during our upcoming trip (which is 164 days away, yes I am counting each day..cannot wait!)

Dornan%26#39;s only has a couple of reviews on TA and neither of them are good. Have you eaten here? If so, what was your experience?

After leaving Jackson Hole Airport, we stopped at Dornan%26#39;s for lunch. We had sandwiches and chips at a table in the outdoor grassy area. The Tetons were seemingly at our feet on a beautiful clear day. I eecall the food as being just fine and the setting spectacular.

we ate dinner on the deck at dornans watching the sunset. it was great. the food was fine but the ambiance of looking directly over the snake river into the tetons may have clouded my judgement.

if it were me i%26#39;d drive the 20 miles to jackson where there are many great places to eat breakfast. my favorite is the bunnery. portions are so large my wife %26amp; i usually split. jedediah%26#39;s %26amp; bubba%26#39;s are also very good for breakfast.

I just looked at the map and didn%26#39;t realize that Dornan%26#39;s was about 15 miles south of Signal Mountain Lodge. We are planning on leaving GTNP via Rt 287, so manybe we will do Dornan%26#39;s another day.
