Side trip to Cody

Hello,

Planning a trip to Yellowstone in August. Should we plan to spend a night in Cody? We will be pulling a travel trailer. Are there any campgrounds in the area? What would be a good plan for leaving and returning to Yellowstone in order to see the best sights. What are the ';can%26#39;t miss'; of Cody?

Side trip to Cody

The can%26#39;t miss in Cody is the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. It is truly amazing. Other fun things are Old Trail Town, Dan Miller%26#39;s Music Revue, and Rodeo. There is so much to do in Cody it takes several days to do it.

Cody had numerous nice campgounds.

Side trip to Cody

Re: RT to YNP, drive, check the map and see the roads leaving YNP, at both the East and NE Entrances. You can plot a beautiful route via Cody. Fantastic scenery. The NE road is the deservedly famous Beartooth Hwy.
