Please tell me your experiences with any snowmobile tours leaving from Jackson to Old Faithful and the Canyon. There are different guides that go to these destinations and my wife and I want to make sure we pick a good one! Thanks.

Can%26#39;t tell you about the Jackson companies. We took the Xanterra snowcoach from Flagg Ranch to Old Faithful. We passed several snowmobile groups along the road coming back. They all looked well bundled up and going along fine.

I loved the park in the winter and I hope you take the opportunity to go and have as good a time as we did.

i%26#39;ve done the guided tours into ynp on snowmobile but it can be very, very tiring. lots of driving at 40+mph which can get old to me. if i go into ynp during the winter again i%26#39;m going to take one of the snowcoach tours to old faithful or the canyon.

my favorite thing to do with snowmobiles is an unguided tour into togwotee national forest. you can do a 1/2 day %26amp; ride up to togwotee lodge %26amp; have lunch with plenty of time for free riding in the open fields. a full day is great %26amp; you can go all the way over to brooks lake lodge, have dinner, %26amp; come back a different way. you can go at your own pace %26amp; have plenty of time for taking pictures.

Jackson Hole Snowmobiles does a great job. They have trips that go to Granite Hot Springs and also up to Old Faithful.
