Recommendations for RVing NE Wyoming

We are planning to come into WY from around Pompeys Pillar MT and do a little sightseeing in the NE part of WY. Any recommendations as to things we should do, see, campgrounds, etc. This will be in late September.

Thank you.

Recommendations for RVing NE Wyoming

Our favarorite places are Big Horn Lake, its overlook at Barry%26#39;s Landing, and the Big horn mountians accross hwy l4 into Sheridan, or l6 into Buffalo. Both these towns have nice outdoor swimming pools and Buffallo%26#39;s is in Washington Park FREE! If there is kids in the party, the cowboy carasel in Buffalo is really cute. We love Devils Tower for a nice hike and viewing rock climbers. Campgrounds are plentiful in the Big horn mountians, and Black hills, and the Keyhole state park has a nice reservior. The dinasaur tracksite near Shell, WY is a fun excursion, and Medicine Wheel is a great hike. Also one of our favorite state parks is at Medicine Lodge, pretty creek, petrographs, etc. Hwy 14A is amazing to drive, and the views amazing. Hardin MT has a historic town for photo ops, and the Black Hills access is a full list of camping, activities, caving, and auto touring around Keystone see Mt Rushmore, THe needles, and Custer State Park to name a few close must sees. Fall perfect for cut rates and cooler temps... Have Fun! DION CLARK, Cheyenne WY
