Flying in from the East Coast which airlines/airports

would be the best to use. We would like to fly into Rapid City and fly out of Jackson Hole unless we get a better recommendation. Someone suggested that we fly in and out of the same place but I am wondering if that would really make a $$$ difference. Thanks

We are flying in and out of Denver from Atlanta. We at first thought about doing what you suggested but looked at flights and time, rental car rates, and decided that we could save money by going in and out of Denver. From Atlanta we would have to fly to Salt Lake City then Rapid City, but could fly direct out of Jackson Hole after June 5. We got great round trip airline tickets and rental car rates from Denver.

Check to see what the rental car price will be picking it up in Rapid City and dropping it off in Jackson Hole. They are usually much higher when you drop the car off in another state.

As the other poster said, Denver is a good choice for a circle tour. You also may want to check out Billings, MT.
