Final itinerary (we think)
Hi pozj,
I like the idea that you are giving youself enough time to really enjoy the parks. (I wish I had 3 weeks).
If you run low on food, there are Albertson%26#39;s in Cody and Jackson. They are like Hannaford%26#39;s in Maine.
Be careful hiking up a 14%26#39;er. I did a 13 once and it was just a short hike from a jeep and I was winded.
Now comes the hard part. The waiting to go.
Enjoy your trip!
Final itinerary (we think)Is this your final itinerary?? LOL! I keep changing mine too.
Arrive in Denver and be on the road by noon. This will put you into Story around 6-7pm (which is 8-9pm Boston Time!) I would have a backup plan of a place to stay if you get too tired or have any delays.
Everything else looks great! On your travel day from Jackson to Riverside, make sure you leave early so you can enjoy the drive!
Have fun. While at RMNP, maybe sneak down to Boulder for an afternoon!
Great trip, have fun. I%26#39;d have to add that your Lewis %26amp; Clark interests should, someday, bring you to the Pacific NW.
Thanks, guys!
Voyaging, funny that you should mention the Pacific NW..we were in Seattle about 5 years ago, visited Olympic National Park and Whidbey Island. We loved Seattle! I called Washington the ';WOW'; state.Every curve of the road was a new vista.
Well, I just found out we may be going to Oregon next summer on family business...I see opportunity knocking!!
