Anyone know about the wagon ride in YNP?

Advance reservations are required..'; The wagon ride sounds fun along with a steak dinner; anyone know about it?

We took the hour horseback ride to the cowboy cookout at Roosevelt. The hour is round trip so its a half-hour each way.

The steak was OK but the setting was very nice. You will need reservations. Its fairly expensive but my wife liked it and wants to go again in June.

We didn%26#39;t have a camera at the cookout. They won%26#39;t let you take one on the horse and I didn%26#39;t have one I wanted them to carry. Here%26#39;s a link to some of the pictures of the area where they do it. You can also see the wagons coming back in. Click on the right side of the picture to see the next one. There%26#39;s 5 or 6 of that area.

Here is a video (14 minutes) showing the Roosevelt cookout via wagon train. Watch the whole thing and you will get an idea of what it%26#39;s like. I have not been yet but we are thinking of doing this dinner while we are there this summer. We have friends who will be with us and they are planning on going on this cookout via horseback ride, rather than the wagons, which they were told was an option.
