Xanterra alert

I received someone else%26#39;s travel reservation confrmation this morning via email. The wierd thing is that it had the traveler%26#39;s email address but came to my email address. I did forward it to the person who should have received it.

That%26#39;s kind of scary, as it did contain personal information. I plan to call Xanterra when they open to inform them.

Me too! I got 3 messages, someone elses%26#39;s reservation, one of mine that is correct, and another one for me is incorrect. I%26#39;m calling them this morning.

I also got one. Did either of you get through to xanterra? If so, what did they say? I tried to reply email, but it failed to go through.

I called corporate headquarters and they told me that there was a major computer email problem today but that no credit card information was compromised.

They told me to call 866-439-7375 number and ask for Brad Harbaugh. I did call him and he assured me that even though names and addresses did get sent out that no credit card info was sent out.

Unfortunately, distributing names and addresses can compromise privacy as well.

Brad also said that some confirmations that went out were incorrect and that it is a good idea to confirm our own reservation, which he did for me.

If you recieved these emails you should confirm your reservation and report this to Brad.

I actually live in NH now. That surely brings back memories though, and I%26#39;m glad I can remember that far back!

I remember it as: Olly olly oxen free. Better yet, it%26#39;s in Wikipedia and other sites, and though we used it, one possible source, noted in Wiki, is not so pleasant.

I miss New England, so it%26#39;s nice to visit on occasion.
