We%26#39;re planning an RV vacation in Yellowstone July 09 (yes, we%26#39;re organised!) and the National Park sites open for booking May 1st 08. My husband and I have two teens, they%26#39;ll be 17 (boy) and 15 (girl) then. Which camping sites for RVs do you recommend? We%26#39;re planning on towing an SUV so we can get around. Also any recommendations about RV hirers appreciated.
Thanks,
Nee33
Best RV parks YellowstoneIf you need full hookups for the RV, then there is only 1 RV park inside Yellowstone, Fishing Bridge. The other campgrounds do not have hookups. There are RV parks in the surrounding towns of West Yellowstone, Gardiner and Cody.
If you don%26#39;t need the full hookups, then try Madison and Canyon Campgrounds.
Have fun planning.
Best RV parks YellowstoneThanks for that advice. We don%26#39;t need to have hookups so we%26#39;ll try the Canyon and Maddison. Thank you again,

This is a link to a page with a chart that compares the campgrounds within the Park. There are also maps of the individual campgrounds down under the campground descriptions.

It is a good idea to organise ahead of time including making your reservations for campgrounds inside Yellowstone Park. Reservations are handlded by www.travelyellowstone.com for all campsites. Don%26#39;t wait once you have decided on your itinerary because campgrounds like Madison will book completely during busy summer months for trailer sites.
