I would like to tent camp in Aug. Is there any loop that is better than the rest? Do all the tent sites have a spot to park the SUV?

I haven%26#39;t found any particular loop that was significantly better than any other, but everyone might have their preference.

All the sites in the tent loops have a paved parking spot for at least one vehicle except for any bicycle/hiker site there are (only a few) and most are just a short walk to the restrooms with running cold water and flush toilets. Canyon is nicely situated in a think lodgepole pine forest and is one of my favorite large campgrounds due to its optimum location in the center of the park.
