We are staying 1 night in Cody and the next day we fly out of Billings at 3:00 pm. I did a mapquest to find out how far this is ~ it says 2 hrs. Can anyone tell me how much time we will be needed to make a flight at 3:00 pm?

At Billings airport, probably you will need an hour or so prior to your flight.
I would arrive in the area by 1:30pm in order to return rental car etc.... So I would leave Cody around 10:30-11 am. That will give you time to enjoy the drive.

The drive between Cody and Billings can be a little desolate at times, but the roads get windy and narrow in places. Take your time and enjoy. If it were me I%26#39;d leave between 9 and 10am. That way if you see something interesting you have a little time to stop.
