In June 2008 coming from Montpelier,ID to Grand Teton
National Park. Will be leaving Monteplier on Rt.89 to Alpine, then taking Rt.89/26 to Wilson, then Rt.390 to Grand Teton. Is this an OK route with good roads and any guess on the driving time. Thanks for the info.
Driving time/road conditions
Welcome,
The road from Monteplier to Jackson is pretty good the whole way. The stretch going into Wyoming is a little narrow but in decent condition and from there on it is all great highway. I recall it is about 3 1/2 hour give or take and goes by easily.
If you want a break on your trip, consider stoping in Thayne at the local cheese factory and get some fresh snacks for you trip.
Let us know if we can anwser anymore questions and safe driving,
- Kery
