finally two nights

After calling everyday for a month and three times today I finally got another night in the park. Unfortantly it is not at the same place as the first night and we are really going backwards as far as hotels are concerned and our travel plans, lol. We arrive from Cody and we are staying the first night at Grant Village. the second night we are staying at the very expensive Lake Yellowstone Hotel (my parents are staying at Lake Lodge which is much cheaper but no room for all of us and its only a few blocks away)and leaving out the directions of the Gran Tetons,lol. Crazy but at least we have a place to stay now. I%26#39;m going to keep calling and see if I can tweek it a bit. But going on those directions how should we plan our day. We will have 2 full days there. We are leaving cody by 7am in order to do this.

Since you are staying in centralized locations within Yellowstone, I would recommend concentrating the day you are staying at Grant on the ';lower loop'; and the day that you are staying at Canyon on the ';upper loop.'; The interior roads within Yellowstone form a large figure ';8.';

Make sure to fit in one of the evening ranger programs at the Grant amphitheater if you can and the new Supervolcano exhibit at the Canyon visitor center.
