average temperatures at night in mid July

Does anyone know the average temperatures at night (and day for that matter) around the colter bay area in mid July.

We are from Florida and camping in one of the tent cabins and just wondering how cold it gets at night and how well the wood stove keeps the tent warm.

From www.wunderground.com for last year July 15th 2007: Actual Max 87, actual Min 46... Avg max 80, avg min 39!

But.. it can vary. I would think about bring sweats to sleep in... even a stocking cap.. you lose alot of heat via your head! I know you can rent sleeping bags etc.. but you may want to also bring some blankets, quilts or get them in Jackson and send home when you are done. It really will seem cold to you folks... BUT what a great experience.

The wood stove in the tent should be able to keep the tent warm. Do they supply wood? Who has to light the thing? If you do... can you?

Thanks for reply...I know it going to feel really cold to us at night but I figure between the sleeping bags (which we are bringing) and the woodstove we should be okay.

They do have wood there and believe it or not we live in Orlando and have two fireplaces :) so I am pretty good at starting a fire.

The reason I am asking so many questions is I am wondering if I should add an extra night or if two in the tents would be enough.

Good to hear you have ';fire starting'; experience, lol! I actually know quite a few people that can not start a fire, even out here in cold weather states!!!
