Hotels

What is a cheap, clean hotel that is close to the rodeo? Can we walk from a hotel to the rodeo? Do I need to make reservations now???

Look at the Sunrise Motor Inn. Its right next to the Bill Cody Museum and not far from the rodeo, nothing%26#39;s far. It%26#39;s got good reviews here, it%26#39;s cheap, and has a big pool. I%26#39;t just a mom and pop motor inn but looks like its kept up well and as I said the reviews here are pretty good.

And, YES, you do need to make summer reservations now wherever you are going!!

Cody is the only place I havent made reservations at yet. I will check out that hotel. We jsut need some where to sleep and shower, its not like we will be there long, lol.

Thanks

I looked at Sunrise and they are over $100 just like all the rest. Is there anywhere to stay that will cost less then that a night?? We have been paying that for all nights but one on our 11 day trip and I was hoping for a break while in cody, lol

I too have been looking for an under $100 for Cody... no luck so far! We just want to visit the museums, no rodeo for us.

Any other suggestions for us???

lorinjer, w/o going through your posts, unsure if you are seeing the Cody museums. Truly, the several museums in one are a delightful surprise in quantity, design and presentation, and definitely worth seeing. I%26#39;d plan on at least two hours.

I doubt we will be there early enough to see anything but the rodeo and we heading out early the next day for Yellowstone. Anyone else have any luck with a cheaper hotel?

When I checked for the first week of June hotels were about $100 per night. We wanted something larger with young people coming also so are staying in one of the Cody Cowboy Village cabins for $199 per night. Breakfast is included.
