YNP to Cheyenne

I once again printed out a map that shows different routes to Cheyenne from YNP. We are taking the Red route that takes us only in part of the GTNP. We go by Rivertone and Muden gap, anything worth stopping to see??? Should we go farther into the GTNP and then go onto Cheyenne?

YNP to Cheyenne

You can see the Tetons and Jackson Lake area before you need to drive at Moran Junction SE on US 287 toward I80 which will take you to Cheyenne.

Stop and see Jackson Lake, maybe stop and do a quick hike and maybe lunch, possibly drive as far as Signal Mountain. Any time you spend here will be great! I would do some outdoor activity before you and your kids get headed to Cheyenne.

If you have time stop in Dubois to see the Bighorn Sheep place, and outside of Lander is Sinks Canyon State Park.

thanks for the stops to add!!
