June Trip

My son graduates on June 14 and has to report to university at the end of June.

Are there good horseback riding trips (6-8 days)during this part of June? Would anyone recommend a particular trip or outfitter? We would like to do some fly fishing and experience the country and wildlife.

June Trip

Look into the lodges in the Wapiti Valley - we stayed at Elephant Head Lodge and enjoyed it. We have a son too and we went riding. They can arrange fishing too. There is also a company that arranges pack trips by horseback - you are out all day and camp. Don%26#39;t know the name - google it. I am sure it will come up.

June Trip

I agree a lodge is your best best for riding trips but you do not have to stay the whole time at a lodge. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife in YNP and GT. My college age son did horseback riding and a raft trip last summer in our trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. We will do more this summer when we come the first week of June.
