Lodging in Jackson Hole area

We will be flying home out of Jackson and thought about renting a cabin but since we will only be here for 2 nights on the last leg of our trip we figured it wouldn%26#39;t be worth it and most require a 3-4 night minimum stay. I have been doing some searching and all the lodging around the square seems to be quite $$ and we don%26#39;t mind spending the money as long as it has what we need. Any thoughts or input on where to stay would be appreciated. TIA

I highly recommend the Buckrail Lodge about 5-6 blocks from town square. It%26#39;s not really that far, as Jackson is small. It is one of the cleanest motels I have stayed in. It is a log cabin like atmosphere. Check out their website, buckraillodge.com. If you are interested, book now. They only have 12 rooms. You will pay around $117 per night here, which is a very good value for Jackson. Everything is a bit pricey here, as I am sure you have noticed.

Enjoy your trip.

When is your trip? You may want to look at Colter Bay Cabins located inside Teton National Park. http://www.gtlc.com/

Also you may want to look at Cowboy Village Resort http://www.townsquareinns.com/cowboy-village/

our favorite place is the sundance inn which is one block from the square. i think we are paying $129 per night for a couple of nights. one time we couldn%26#39;t find any place to stay when we came back to jackson a night earlier than planned %26amp; ended up finding a room at the kudar motel. it is very plain but clean...%26amp; cheap. it%26#39;s just up cache street from the square about 3 blocks.

I%26#39;ve stayed at about 6 different places in Jackson, and thought that I got the most bang for my buck at The Ranch Inn. Only a block from town square. Breakfast in the morning. Spacious rooms. About $120/night in peak season.
