Ok.. need some input on my plan...Sounds like a great trip. I will post after our trip in late May/early June and let you know about our experiences. We are staying at Cody Cowboy Village in Cody and so will be interested in your review of Best Western Sunset Inn.
Ok.. need some input on my plan...Hi CasaAzul,
Looks like a good plan.
For day 7 you might want to try the Canyon Lodge Dining Room. IMO it is the best place for dinner in Canyon.
There are so many places for a great picnic in Yellowstone. If you run low on supplies you can always buy more at the Canyon store.
Enjoy your trip!
Casa - plan sounds good. We had a horrible meal at the Canyon Dining room last year -- who knows what this year will bring???
for dinner your second night you might want to go to dornans at moose junction. we love sitting on the deck %26amp; eating dinner at sunset. it%26#39;s nothing fancy but they do have great pizza, salads, %26amp; other dishes. you%26#39;re overlooking the snake %26amp; facing the tetons. there are several shops, a wine store, moosely seconds, %26amp; they also have a chuckwagon if you had rather do that. i noticed in the jh news that mrs. dornan recently passed away. she had been doing the chuckwagon for years.

Sounds like an awesome trip, Casa. Maybe we can get that Moose Drool beeer in somewhere :)
We are staying at the BW Sunset Inn as well. We are thinking about the Proud Cut Saloon in Cody for dinner.
Keep in eye out for Animal Planet. This week they did a show on Grizzlies in Yellowstone. It was really interesting.
I hope your hubby%26#39;s back is getting better. One thing we decided to do was to roll up a foam bedding pad and pack it into a backpack to be checked as luggage. That way if one of the hotel beds is uncomfortable for my hubby%26#39;s back, then he can cushion it a little....or maybe we%26#39;ll just pick up one when he get out there.

Sounds like a great trip Casa! I%26#39;d better get busy thinking of dining plans throughout my trip. I learn so much and get such good hints from others on this forum.
The Cowboy Cafe in Dubois has great fresh fruit pies and cobblers - The Mangy Moose in Teton Village is fun for all ages - also Bubba%26#39;s Bar b Que in JAckson is great for families - breakfast and dinner are both good. The Signal Mt. Lodge in the Tetons has a nice dining room. ALso we had breakfast and dinner in the Lake Yellowstone Hotel - at least go and have a coffee or a tea in the sun room overlooking the lake. Beautiful and historic.
Awesome ideas!! Thanks! Any other recommended places for meals on my trip?
Anyone been to Cow Fish in Lander???
Thanks
No.I haven%26#39;t maybe somebody else has.
