Can anyone advise if you can play 1 fee to get into all the parks in the area. I am trying to plan ahead but I could not find anything on this. TIA
Park Fees/Entrances
Your entrance fee for Yellowstone gets you into Grand Teton and vice versa. I don%26#39;t know about other parks in the area, but if you%26#39;ll be visiting several National Parks this year, look into buying a yearly parks pass. I don%26#39;t have a link, but you should be able to find it at the National Park System website.
Park Fees/Entrances
It is really amazing to me that you can get two great parks for the price of one with Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, but it is so. Entrance was $20.
I don%26#39;t know what other park you may be thinking of visiting, but any other park you would pay their separate fee. The American the Beautiful Pass is $80 and good for a year%26#39;s entrance into any National Park, monument, historic site, recreation area. It is worth it if you plan on more visits (to say Badlands or Mt Rushmore or Devils Monument or Glacier)
Last year the fee for Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons was $25.00. I think that is the fee again.
At places like Mt. Rushmore you just pay a parking fee of $10. Check US National Park page on the web for more info.
Thanks for the replies. I just want to get all my ducks in a row.
We paid $20 this Jan, but as I see on the website that is because we had a snowcoach. Car entrance is $25.
If you are planning on going to Yellowstone %26amp; Grand Teton for more than 3 days, I would get a regional parks pass...last year it was around $50.00 with unlimited entry into both parks. Other wise you are paying by the car by day for each park. $25.00 just for Yellowstone.
I beg to differ, from the nps website:
The entrance fee is $25 for a private, noncommercial vehicle; $20 for each snowmobile or motorcycle; or $12 for each visitor 16 and older entering by foot, bike, ski, etc. This fee provides the visitor with a 7-day entrance permit for both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
Park entrance fees are different in the winter for snowcoaches and snowmobiles than in the summer for vehicles.
From what I have read on www.nps.gov/yell the entrance fee into Yellowstone is $25 per vehicle and good for 7 days and includes entrance to Grand Teton, as well, for those same 7 days..... Seems that if you are in the area for 7 days or less, then the $25 fee will get you into both parks for those 7 days.
If you plan on being in the parks for longer than 7 days (as we are) you can either purchase the YS/Teton Annual Pass for $50 good for 12 months, or the America the Beautiful Pass for $80 for entrance to all National Parks and Monuments for 12 months.(except a few that just charge a parking fee).
If you are a Senior, over age 62, you can get a $10 lifetime pass to enter all National Parks/Monuments.
