I%26#39;m not sure which direction we will be going everyday so how can I make reservations not knowing where we will be ,lol. Are reservations a must to eat anywhere in the park??? We are not picky about when we eat.
reservations a must??
No, reservations are necessary at the formal dining rooms. Most locations (but not all) have a cafeteria, plus some have ice cream parlor or snack shack place.
If you do want to enjoy the ambiance of one of the formal dining rooms, breakfast and lunch are lower cost meals and reservations are less necessary or not required at all.
reservations a must??
Reservation for dinner at Lake Hotel and Old Faithful Inn. You could always have a late dinner I suppose.
We like to picnic for lunch, where ever we end up! There are small grocery stores inside the Park and in all the surrounding communities (West Yellowstone, Gardiner, Cody, etc.) If you pass through one of these bigger towns, pick up a disposable cooler, water/juices, and other odds %26amp; ends that will keep. Then, just pick up what you need each morning for sandwiches.
There are dozens of small picnic areas scattered throughout the park. It is fun to just pull off when you feel like it!
Thanks for letting me know that we can buy a small amount of food in the park. We really enjoy picnicing!!!
Is there any of the places to eat that we should stay away from?
