Hello Everyone, I will be in JH next week and would like to have a nice dinner on Sat. night. Wild Sage Restaurant at Rusty Parrot Lodge looks interesting. Is this place a good selection? Thank you!
Dinner Recommendation
I have never eaten there but have eaten at the Gunbarrel which is really nice. So is Burke%26#39;s Chop House and Nora%26#39;s Fishcreek Inn.
Dinner Recommendation
Altho%26#39; we spent 9 days in Jackson Hole, we had only one dinner in Jackson and it was a fine one. Dined at the Snake River Grill (www.snakerivergrill.com) which is loc%26#39;d across from the Square. Excellent food and service with beautiful surroundings. Altho%26#39; they were quite busy that nite, everything was first-rate. I would highly recommend dining there.
it%26#39;s really hard to find a bad place to eat in jackson. wild sage is good. some of my other favorites are the sweetwater (quaint but not fancy), burke%26#39;s chop house (more upscale), nani%26#39;s (italian), gunbarrel (typical western steakhouse), cowboy steakhouse (upscale steakhouse in basement of cowboy saloon), thai me up (good thai), %26amp; the granery (at spring creek, upscale w/great view). the mangy moose at teton village is pretty neat but the food is just ';ok'; to me. it really just depends on what you are looking for.
Trio is one of the newer restaurants here in town, a few blocks from the Square. It has been featured recently in severnal national publications. I%26#39;m hoping the fam takes me there for my b%26#39;day next week!
Have friends that make Wild Sage their special occasion restaurant. Tiny, good food, great reputation, $$
Thanks guys for your responses. Looks like we%26#39;re having dinner at Trio Sat night. I%26#39;ll be sure to post a review when I return.
Happy early Bday Lvinjxnhole!!
Perhaps I%26#39;ll see you there :-), Saturday is the big day for me, kids are out of valley, so it%26#39;s hubby %26amp; me. (kids better call)
If you ';google'; Trio, you can get the web site and sample menu.
For other options during your stay, pick up the 2008 Dining Guide at airport or Visitor Center on Cache, most of restaurants have menus posted. Just don%26#39;t read it if you%26#39;re getting hungry :-)
