Hi - we are planning a trip mid-June - 2 nights at the west and two nights at the north entrances to Yellowstone. We want to continue into Grand Teton, and are DEBATING whether to stay at Flagg Ranch (we will be driving down from the north entrance)OR to continue to Jackson. We want to explore the Tetons and do some of the fun activities (float trip, the lakes etc.) and just CANNOT decide whether Jackson is a better bet for 2 nights. We have 2 kids, a teen and a 6 year old. THANK YOU for helping us decide!
Flagg Ranch or Jackson for Grand Teton?
We stayed in Jackson last year and did a raft trip on the Snake River with Barker-Ewing. We are staying this again in Jackson Hole. We just use the town and all the restaurants as our base and travel back into the Grand Tetons to explore. We spent 2 days last year at West Yellowstone and are spending two days at Gardiner, MT. and 2 days at Cody, Wyoming this year. Of course this is just my personal preference because I like the restaurants, etc. My kids like the TV, pool, and selection of food.

I vote Jackson. There would just be so much more to do for all of you.
since you have kids i%26#39;d go with jackson too. the downtown area is just a neat place if you%26#39;ve never stayed around the square.
