Mount Washburn Hike
This is one of my favorite hikes. There are two ways to go, one starts at Dunraven pass the other at Chittenden Road. We were able to go up Dunraven and down the other side as my husband dropped us off and picked us up. I liked the Dunraven side better, much more in forrest whereas other side much more out in the open. Beautiful views- can see where the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is, Hayden Valley, Lake Yellowstone and distant Mountains. Just incredible views from the top. Three miles up, three miles down, took us about 4 hours but really took our time, taking lots of pictures etc, really not a difficult hike with all the switchbacks plus spent a lot of time at the top- snacking, just enjoying the area. A definite must do hike! Enjoy!
We are doing this hike in July this summer. here%26#39;s a website that tell of it.
